The Vision Email: Send the Email Now (Not Later)

Because perfection can’t convert — only presence can.
Write less. Connect more. Convert better.

🧠 Let’s Be Honest...

How many brilliant email ideas have you almost sent this year?

·       That heartfelt story you typed but never scheduled

·       The offer you outlined but over-edited to death

·       The “I’m still here” note you wanted to send, but felt too far gone

You’re not alone.

Most creative solopreneurs I work with have dozens of drafts gathering dust in Google Docs.
And almost every time, it’s not because the writing wasn’t good enough.

It’s because perfection got in the way of presence.

So this is your nudge. Your note from the future. Your warm call-in:

Send the email now.
Not later.
Not when it’s “more polished.”
Not when your schedule clears up.

Now.

Let’s talk about why — and how — to do it.

💡 Why We Delay Emails That Matter

It’s never really about time, is it?

It’s about:

·       “What if this sounds dumb?”

·       “What if they’ve forgotten me?”

·       “What if no one opens it?”

·       “What if I get unsubscribes?”

Let’s reframe.

What if...

It resonates deeply with someone who needs it?
It reopens a connection that was just waiting for your lead?
It reminds someone they’re not alone — and you’re still here?

That email in your drafts could be someone else’s permission slip.
Their clarity. Their next step.

🎯 The Real Reason to Hit Send

Because done emails help people.

And unsent ideas help no one — including you.

Sending builds trust.
With your audience and with yourself.

Every time you press send, you’re training your brain:
“I show up. I deliver. I follow through.”

That’s leadership.
That’s momentum.
That’s marketing that actually works.

But First: A Little Clarity Check

I’m not saying to send just anything.

Before you hit send, ask these 3 questions:

1. 🧘‍♀️ Is this honest?

Does it sound like you? Does it reflect where you’re really at?

2. 💬 Is this useful?

Does it offer a story, a shift, or a next step for the reader?

3. 📣 Is there a call to connection?

Not just “buy now” — but “reply,” “share,” “reflect,” “click,” or “bookmark.”

If it passes those three?
It’s ready.
Let it go. Let it land.

🛠️ A Few Ways to Make Sending Easier

Still feeling stuck? Try these:

·       Use a template. (Story / Value / Soft Sell / Recap — don’t reinvent.)

·       Write a 5-sentence email. (Short doesn’t mean lazy. It means readable.)

·       Add a note at the top. (“This one’s from the heart. A little messy. But important.”)

·       Create a batching ritual. (Tea, music, no Slack. Write 2. Schedule 2.)

Repeat after me:

“It’s okay if this isn’t perfect.
It just needs to connect.”

️ Try This: The “Send It Anyway” Email

Here’s a plug-and-play format for your next email. Try it word-for-word or riff on it:

Subject: “I almost didn’t send this…”

Body:

Hey [first name] —

I almost kept this one in drafts.

It’s a little vulnerable. A little unpolished. But it’s real.

And I’ve learned that real > perfect — every time.

So here it is:

[Insert: Story, lesson, offer, or reflection.]

If it lands? I’d love to hear back.

If it doesn’t? That’s okay too.

Either way — thank you for reading.

See you again soon,
[Your name]

This kind of message does more than perform.
It builds presence.
It invites trust.
It converts with integrity.

💬 One More Reframe for the Road

Think of sending your email like planting a seed.

You don’t demand fruit the next day.
You don’t stare at the dirt, refreshing the tab.
You just plant it — and let it do what seeds do.

You keep showing up.
You keep watering.
You trust the process.

Emails grow roots before they bloom.
But you have to send them first.

📣 Tell Me This:

What’s one email in your drafts you’re ready to send this week?

Hit reply. I’ll be your witness — and your cheer squad.

Or tell me what’s still in the way.
We’ll work through it together.

Your words matter.
Your people are listening.
You are ready.

With trust,
—Eli
